The beloved Annual Lighted Christmas Parade in Live Oak, originally planned for Saturday, December 5 (last day of Christmas on the Square), was postponed due to inclement weather.
Sponsored by the Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce, the parade was held Friday, December 12, at 7:00 p.m. Although the weather was cold, no rain threatened the festivities and the community gathered in downtown Live Oak where wide-eyed children and adults enjoyed the annual tradition. Floats created by local businesses and organizations were exceptional this year.
Float winners are:
1st Place Commercial: Speer Aviation
1st Place Non-Commercial: Suwannee County School District Transportation.
