This year’s Autumn Festival, Thunder on the Suwannee, at Advent Christian Village (ACV) in Dowling Park, was a day full of fun activities for all. Held on November 2, 2019, the line-up included 51 vendors of handmade items, miscellaneous merchandise for sale and food vendors. Vendors were stationed in the Village Square starting at 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. We welcomed back Scott Carroll, event’s Emcee for the day. Suwannee ROTC performed the flag presentation then right into our guest soloist, Don Warren’s presentation of the National Anthem. Daniel Trujillio from Christian Motorcyclist Associates introduced Run for the Son our featured charity. Sweet Harmony sang music of all types and styles ranging from oldies to hymns of praise and worship. Special Thanks to this popular trio: Cassandra Hunter, Arletta Kline and Lora Tyre.

Two contests were conducted during the day: A Pumpkin Yummy and A Pumpkin Decorating Contest.
