ATTENTION:

The Board may add additional items to this agenda.
Affirmative action on any item includes authorization of

Chairman’s, or designee’s, signature on all associated

documents.
Individual speakers from the audience will be allowed

three

(3) minutes to speak following recognition by the

Chairman

and must speak from the podium. Speakers may only

make one (1) trip to the podium regarding each item they

wish to speak on.                                                   
Groups or factions representing a position on a proposition

or issue are required to select a single representative or

spokesperson.  The designated representative will be

allowed to speak for seven (7) minutes following

recognition by the Chairman and must speak from the

podium.  Speakers may only make one (1) trip to the

podium regarding each item they wish to speak on.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

March 19, 2019 – MSBU Workshop
March 19, 2019 – Regular Board Meeting

CONSENT:

Approval of payment of processed invoices.

Approval of Supplemental Agreement with the Florida

Department of Transportation for additional CIGP funds

in the amount of $98,000 for new road construction of

122nd Street from US 129 to CR 49 and adoption of

enabling resolution.

Approval of a resolution designating Randy Harris,

Suwannee County Administrator, as the authorized

agent having signature authority for the State of Florida

Emergency Management Division Grant Agreement

#H0138 and the associated Hazard Mitigation Grant

Program project #4337-39-R.

Approval of Change Order No. 2 in the amount of

$400.00 associated with the Jackson project being

funded by a CDBG Housing grant.

Approval of Change Order No. 2 in the amount of

$1,200.00 associated with the Adams project being

funded by a CDBG Housing grant.

Approval of Public Transportation Grant Agreement

#433128 (PTGA) with Florida Department of

Transportation for design and rehab of Terminal

Building at Suwannee County Airport and adoption of

enabling resolution.

Approval of agreement with Property Appraiser for

reimbursement of services for uniform method relative

to non-ad valorem special assessments for roadway

improvements.

Approval of Supplemental Local Agency Program

agreement (SA #3) for Live Oak Rail Trail project

(FDOT No. 433985) for additional funds and adoption

of enabling resolution.

Adoption of Resolution declaring the month of April

“Water Conservation Month.”

Award bid and authorize execution of contract with Hoff

Enterprises, Inc. for installation of IT cabling at Suwannee

County Courthouse. (Bid Solicitation No. 2019-11)

(Bids were opened March 19, 2019)

Award bid and authorize execution of contract with Cross

Environmental Services, Inc. for demolition of Douglass

Center. (Bid Solicitation No. 2019-13) (Bids were opened

March 26, 2019)

Award Request for Proposal and authorize execution of a

contract with Madden Media for marketing/advertising

services for the Suwannee County TDC. (RFP Solicitation

No. 2019-08) (Responses were opened March 12, 2019)

Award bid and authorize execution of contract with Curt’s

Construction for new road construction of 122nd Street

from US 129 to CR 49, pending FDOT concurrence. 

Budget impact: funded by FDOT. (Bid Solicitation No.

2018-15) (Bids were opened October 23, 2018)

Renewal of Worxtime Universal Service agreement for

monitoring of Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance.


TIME SPECIFIC ITEMS:

At 6:15p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be

heard, hold a public hearing to consider the enactment of

an ordinance and adoption of enabling resolution providing

for designation of certain streets, roads, highways and

bridges within the County as truck routes; providing for

definitions; providing for prohibition of truck traffic;

providing for exceptions; providing for inclusion in the

code; providing for penalty; providing for severability

PROCLAMATIONS AND PRESENTATIONS:

Adoption of resolution declaring April 8, 2019 as

“National Lineman Appreciation Day.”

with Water or Waste Water Plant at   I-75 / CR 136

interchange. (Randy Harris, County Administrator)
