Independence Day Celebrations

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Columbia County Fairgrounds

Lake City will be presenting their annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on July 4. 2017 from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Columbia County Fairgrounds, 164 SW Mary Ethel Lane in Lake City. This event displays one of the best fireworks shows in all of North Florida! Thousands of people will come and experience North Florida’s best firework display. There will be live entertainment, vendors, food, kid’s activities and much more. In the evening, the fireworks show will kick off. Bring blankets and lawn chairs and lay back as you celebrate America’s independence! For information, call 386-752-3690.



Spirit of Greenville 4th of July Fireworks at Haffye Hays Park

The Spirit of Greenville 4th of July Fireworks Show will take place on Tuesday evening, July 4 over the pond at Haffye Hays Park in downtown Greenville. The fireworks will begin at dark, between 9:00 and 9:30 PM. Remember to bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the show. For more information, please contact Greenville City Hall at 850-948-2251.



2nd Annual 4th of July
Celebration in Mayo

Come and be a part of the 2nd Annual 4th of July Celebration in Mayo from 5 to 9 PM at Edward Perry Rec. Field in Mayo. A BBQ CookOff, CornHole Tournament, Watermelon eating contest, 50/50 drawing, door prizes and more. Also, pulled pork sandwichs or rib dinners available, with chips, cole slaw and drink $5. Branford River Reunion 4th of July Celebration

The Branford River Reunion Committee will be again organizing and hosting the Branford Fourth of July celebration on Tuesday, July 4th. There will be crafts and food booths, a Duck Race on the beautiful Suwannee River which is hosted by the Branford Rotary Club with prizes donated by area businesses and a parade at 6:00 PM. Entertainment with local talent is planned during the entire day until the fireworks begin.

In addition, there will be games and activities for the entire family. The fireworks show will begin at dark and is always a hit with kids and adults. Each year the fireworks show packs the park and every available parking area on Highway 27 and Highway 247.

The Branford River Reunion Committee is the organization that puts the 4th of July celebration on in Branford Florida each year. Their mission is to have a fun and safe celebration in the little town of Branford. For more information, please call 386-935-0021.



Independence Day
Celebration at Newberry American Legion

Come and join the American Legion and community Veterans at Post 149 on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM as they celebrate our country’s independence and our men and women in uniform. Enjoy some grilled BBQ chicken, music, fun, and much more. Times are tentative. The Newberry American Legion is located at 26821 W. Newberry Rd. in Newberry.
